Job Description
We are a large restaurant group with several branches, seeking a professional and well-presented Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The role focuses on delivering a warm welcome, managing reservations and seating efficiently, and creating an excellent first impression that reflects the standards of our brand.
The successful candidate will work closely with the floor and service teams to ensure smooth guest flow, minimize waiting times, and maintain a consistently high level of hospitality across the branch.
key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a positive first impression.
- Manage the reservation system and maintain an accurate daily booking schedule.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus professionally.
- Organize seating arrangements and manage the waiting list during peak hours.
- Coordinate with waiters, captains, and the floor manager to ensure smooth guest flow.
- Handle incoming phone calls and respond to reservation and general inquiries.
- Monitor the entrance and reception area to keep it clean, tidy, and well-presented.
- Receive guest feedback and escalate comments or complaints to management.
- Bid farewell to guests on departure and encourage repeat visits.
- Support branch operations and adhere to company grooming and service standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Female candidates only.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Hostess in restaurants, hospitality, or a similar guest-facing role.
- Well-groomed, presentable appearance with a professional and welcoming manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken (mandatory).
- Ability to remain calm, courteous, and organized during peak hours.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Team-oriented mindset with a genuine passion for hospitality.
